Take your pick of beautiful walks & hikes...along the Beach (it’s not unusual for you to have it to yourself) or through the sand dunes, up onto cliff tops & headlands at either end of the beach, around the two nearby lakes & through salt-water marshes.

The Trans-Canada Trailway runs right past our property and goes for miles & miles. Pack a picnic lunch and go exploring...hiking or cycling (complimentary bicycles available).

Some of the most beautiful coastal scenery is waiting for you to discover! Artists, photographers & nature lovers are easily inspired by this beautiful area. Everywhere you look you are surrounded by amazing views!
 
Keep a careful lookout in the ocean for whales, Harbour porpoises, Atlantic bottle-nose dolphins, several different varieties of ducks, and of course, Bob, our friendly, curious local seal!

Overhead, you may see osprey, eagles, golden peregrine falcons, hawks, great blue herons, sandpipers, red-winged blackbirds, blue jays, goldfinches.
If you want a closer look, visit Hope for Wildlife (5 minutes away) the famous wildlife rescue centre from TV fame!
